House of Nisbet - Zodiac Bear Collection. UK

The Peggy Nisbet story had its beginning in 1953 when she made her first porcelain doll which was clothed in Coronation robes to celebrate the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 11. She went on to make many dolls of royalty and world famous people, all of which became collector items.

At a later date she introduced a range of teddy bears to her line of items produced.

Peggy Nisbet died in 1993 and her daughter Allison took over the business. It was later sold.

The bears offered for sale are from the Zodiac Collection and are new bears that have been in storage for the past few years.
