Following the success of the Leabrook Wood label of bears established in 1988, the artist Leonie Mahar decided in 1995 to produce a range of teddy bears under the label of The Australian Teddy Bears Company.
The bears are individually hand crafted by the artist Leonie Mahar from the finest quality materials and conform to the highest quality standards.
